I love cars and very much passionate about them. I do lots of research and love knowing about them. Basically an engineer but as my father is great car lover, my interest for car grew up with me. I had lots of information about new cars but wanted to know some more details about the used cars, so I decide to cling on to my friend to get more information as he is a used car dealer. He purred like as if he had nothing but my highest interest in his heart. Their family was in this business for more than 2 decades serving the customers. I realized that first and foremost thing before buying a used car

is to check how many kilometers the car has done and then examine the papers. Take a test drive, give your ears to check up for any unusual sound, drive around and you will know condition of the car. Make sure you take a mechanic along with you which will help you in your study and detailing. Another important thing is make sure that your car purchase is through an authorized dealer, so that you will be saved from future. It is exciting to drive home a brand new car, but financially it makes more sense to buy a used car. As soon as you drive a new car off the lot, it depreciates in value because your car is no longer ‘new’. New cars lose about 40% of their value within 3 years, when depreciation starts to slow down. When you buy a used car, someone else takes on that depreciation.

The flip side of the coin is that a used car may well be less reliable than a new one. You may never know what you’re actually getting. However, every situation is different and your second hand car could more likely than not, turn out to be a great ‘value for money’.
